Thanksgiving is so close I can almost taste it! A day of cooking, a day of eating, and a day of leftovers. How is Thanksgiving not your favorite holiday? A few of my favorite dishes are below, along with some I'd love to try this year! Keep reading (and drooling).
My sister makes the most kick-ass potato gratin every year. It's definitely a favorite among almost everyone. She's made it so many times that a recipe is unneeded at this point. This is one I had waiting for me on Pinterest and it sounds pretty darn good. Serving a small crowd? Personal ramequins are a must. Or, if you have a big crowd like us, adjust the ratios to make one large dish. Either way, it'll be a huge hit.
This is a dish I've never had before, but I definitely want to. Creative, savory, delicious, and not too offensive to your pre-Christmas-party-diet (if you happen to be on one of those .. if not, me neither!). Make the garlic aioli to really wow your fellow diners. Psstt .. leave out the mayo in the asparagus recipe for a more health-conscious dish (or maybe you just dislike mayo!).

Smitten Kitchen is one of my favorite corners of the internet. I've been making Deb's jacked up banana bread for years, and it never ceases to amaze neither me, nor everyone else eating it! Oh, and a quick tip - don't forget to add chocolate chips to go all out. They're a game changer.
There's no denying how good these garlic knots look. And once you read the recipe, there's no denying how easy they are either! Pepperidge Farm puff pastry dough just want from drab to fab in approximately 30 minutes. Imagine a leftover turkey sandwich, with plenty of gravy, on one of these bad boys on black Friday. Sold.
