WEEKEND WARDROBE

Today -- Thursday, March 26 -- I happened to overhear a girl say, "I think it's supposed to snow on Saturday." Obviously, all of my insides cracked and crumbled upon those words, I bowed my head into my elbow, and weeped quietly throughout the rest of English class.

No, that didn't actually happen, but I wanted it to.

Ladies, it is our time. Our time to exercise some tough love on mother nature. #TBT to when we fought for the right to vote. It is 2015, and now is our time to fight for the right to wear our new spring clothes. APRIL IS LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY, and winter, by definition, is long gone. Now, I don't know the extent of that girl's meteorologist skills, but if it does snow, I give you permission to ignore it. Sport your favorite spring outfit, because it is time.

Here's my current favorite spring outfit:

sneaks | tote | necklaces: 1, 2

Yeah, it's weird. This outfit starts off normal with white jeans and a striped tshirt. These are everyone's favorites, everyone's go-to's. But then you realize the jeans are ripped, so you add [hella expensive] worn in sneaks and a broken in denim jacket. It is the weekend, after all. Things just got a little intense. But now it feels too sloppy, so you break out the most sophisticated tote bag you own, and some sparkly necklaces. These make you feel like a grown-up. Good job. But, more than one sparkly necklace takes it to a whole new level. Congrats, you've successfully created the most-normal-weird outfit I have ever seen. And it looks good.

Happy spring! What are you wearing to celebrate? Anyone jetting off for spring break [or on their way home?]?
xx MGR

PS: My apologies for this post being over 24 hours late. I'm lazy, and that's that.
